When you have smart phones, selfies come easy. You can be walking down the street and suddenly someone is taking a selfie of themself. It saves on the old way of taking pictures.

I like your poem. You have the correct number of syllables and a clear message. You should do well in the contest. However, you have posted it in the Stories and Chapter section instead of Poetry. You might need to contact Tom but I'm sure you can move it. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Not too bad. The 5-7-5 prompt is fairly difficult, and you have managed to incorporate a story with those few syllables. I think you should do fairly well in the contest.

It's amazing how cell phones have become such an important part of our lives. I remember as a child, back in the 50s, my grandmother mother had just one phone hanging on the wall that had a party line. A long distance call meant there was a death in the family or at least a serious accident. Have we really come so far? Good luck in the contest.

How current! A part of the in trend that phones are not really so much about conversation as other things.
The flow is good. The message is clear. The last line is a punch line after a two line set-up. Almost too real to be funny.
