That is great news that you can now have a once a week injection. Such a marvellous medical advance and so helpful to so many. Unfortunately all medicines come with side effects. I enjoyed your explanation and enthusiasm for your new treatment.
I wish you luck all the luck in the world. Thank you for sharing your story. Jacqueline

Thanks Jacqueline (I have a Niece same name we always call her "Lyn") There is more coming about Trulicity etc in a new ramble.

This is the first ramble I've read and I am impressed with how detailed and descriptive you are. I looked on your profile page to get a feel for what the ramblings are all about. This seems like a fabulous idea for getting your thoughts, feelings, and life stories organized in writing.
Trulicity is pretty heavily advertised here in the U.S. They say you may lose weight, but also list many side effects. I hope your new Accu-Chek works out well, and wish you success in your journey. I will be reading more.

Watch for an update on Trulicity and also Blood Sugar testing applications...coming in a new chapter now Writer's Block has been kicked up the bum or Butt whatever you prefer. So pleased I have stirred up some more reviewers. Tom says I can promote as many old stories on same days as I want. New ones are still only 2 per day. Stick around. You have encouraged me! Check my autobiography if you are happy to read rewardless. "The Little Dog That Wouldn't Let Go!" Subtitled "God Never Lets Go!"

Wow. It really sounds like there has been huge medical advancements in this field.
This is my first "ramble" reading and I must say I enjoyed it as I like to learn knew things. Of course, it's only a six star on Fanstory if you throw in a puppy or kitten somewhere.
Nice work!

Thanks Douglas, I think we might have met already?? I got these up again as I was a bit concerned at the lack of reviewers first time around but I posted a lot during COVID I think and that might have been why I did not get much, then. Check my autobiography (the precursor to all these rambles) if you are happy to read rewardless. "The Little Dog That Wouldn't Let Go!" Subtitled "God Never Lets Go!"

You give a good description here of what it is like to live with diabetes. Treatments continue to advance, and Truelicity seems to be a significant breakthrough, though as you say, there is usually a downside associated with any medication. Treatment is often a matter of balancing the good against the bad.

Thanks mate. You are right. I am glad the trials seem to be over after the third Trulicity injection. Had the fourth on Friday just gone. My appetite IS reducing and weight is coming off slowly. A great new med.

Sure you got along fine with the new machine. Always seems when something along those lines has to be replaced it is not so compatible with the newer one. Oh well. Check back soon to see what else you have written I have not gotten to yet.

Wondered why this review was still sitting here I needed to respond thanks heaps. Fortunately, the side effects passed after the third Trulicity injection...(third week!)

Fascinating romp through the wonders of modern medicine--indeed, Trulicity is widely advertised in the US--as you say--"not Insulin" are the buzzwords.

Hi Elizabeth so glad you relate. I just hope my bowels settle soon. I have been ok today so far. Maybe the settling has begun. Up till now when I thought all was ok I would find at times it was NOT ok at all!. Thanks for coming by.

Isn't it marvelous that these new products and devices had come about for diabetics, and other ailments as well. I have seen ads for Trulicity on TV. It does seem to have its side effects. It might be wise to see if the bad effects settle down, as the doctor mentioned. I hope the new Accu-Chek works out for you. judi

Thanks Judi. Yeah these new discoveries are great just gotta get around the awful bathroom trips hehe. Seems with the new Accu check they are recommending testing on side of the finger, not the front. I hope it works out. The Care Sens thing was a real pain.

I enjoyed this chapter it was well written rich in Theme and imagery.
And also red and flowed well with no grammar issues.
...
The Adjective and Objective Contents were both Excellent and Exceptional while Descriptive Measures aligned perfectly.
Thanks,

A couple of years ago my husband was diagnoses diabetic. So far, he's been able to take care of it by adjusted his diet. (SO FAR!) He grew up with horrible eating habits and after we were married, I tried and tried to correct this eating habits but was unable to. He's scared of doing insulin shots, so that put him on the right path. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks Barb as I said to Dolly at one time the Doc said I was almost not Type 2 anymore but later on we discovered the weight loss I was experiencing back then was because of Coeliac not good food management. Appreciate the great review.
