no wonder someone was trying to keep him he is so pretty. He was so tired thing how he could get back home. That was a shame. Thank you for sharing. This is sweet.

Thank you for reviewing my poem .. well the neighbours had no idea Paco slipped in ..I kept going back ever hour to reassure him ..I was scared he would panic and start tearing down the place trying to get out ..
Luckily, Paco did no damage I was told by the maid later on in the week.
Keep safe!

This is a very well written 5-7-5 poem about Paco. You used very good descriptive words. Very adorable picture of Paco sleeping on the couch. Best wishes in the contest. Blessings, Teri

Comment from Gloria ....
Too cute, but I can imagine it caused you a great deal of grief. Cats always seem to vanish on the coldest night of the year, and it is because the little rascals have slipped into a neighbour's house.
Great job with this contest, entry. Paco is adorable and looks quite comfortable now. :))

And great deal of anxiety stress and sorrow..
I was worried Paco would panic and start knocking items down.
I went back ever hour to reassure and comfort him ..
I live in the historical centre so houses are attached and one literally steps out onto the narrow streets.
Paco could hear me but I obviously couldn t free him.
Maid arrived at 9.00am on Christmas Day ..
I felt bad but I felt worse listen to Paco s desperate meows.
Thank you for reviewing my poem!

I'm glad he was rescued or should I say escaped his incarceration! A fine poem and no harm done thank goodness, a poignant write about a cat using one of his nine lives, love Dolly x

Actually in my country cats have 7 lives.
It was a nightmare .. I was angry but also scared Paco would panic ..
Where I live ( historical center ) the houses are attached and the main door is practically step out onto the narrow streets ...no gardens in front.
Paco could hear my voice and he hoped I would let him out but of course I couldn t ..
To reassure and comfort him I went back every hour telling him to keep calm ..
That was one hell of a night for both of us ..
The maid arrived at 9.00 am on Christmas Day .. I felt sorry for her but I cared more about my ..boy...
Yes he is really sweet in the pic
Thank you for reviewing my wee poem.
