Elvis, the king of the Baby bloomers, Sally. :) We all danced and swayed to his music. Down in Brownsville, there is a man that served with him in the war and he dedicated his home and all to this legend. The entrance into Graceland down south. :)

Sizzle and melt. I just love Elvis. I'm sad how he ended up. Sadly, the story for too many of our favorite celebrities. It seems we are learning of more dark secrets everyday. I used to play this over & over when I was a kid. This is a lovely tribute to him.

My favorite is Johnny Cash. A few years back, we visited his childhood home and went to the museum in town. I would love to visit Sun records too and tool around Memphis. I'm from upstate NY, but my wife is originally from Benton, Arkansas. That's why I love reading your stories and checking out what area you mention too. That, and you are a good writer.
