This is a lovely poem in honor of your mom. There is something special about spring that does cause us to remember things from other springs and all those pleasant things we enjoyed people we loved.

June, this is a lovely Josephs Star form and a perfect vehicle to use to share your thoughts about your mother. Well done and I can smell the lilacs from here... mine will bloom in about a month :). A delightful verse.

Ah, smells can conjure up memories so powerfully! I guess your mother liked lilacs? My mom does, too. But they don't grow in Hawaii so I tried sending her perfume scent but it's not the same. Great job with your Joseph's Star poem!
