I guess one of the signs of a gambling problem is chasing one's losses, it just increases that dilemma, I know God told me to stop, because it was the bane of my life and my family's, but the real problem was the alcohol. But they are idols, replacing God, they are the devil's devices for ruining one's life. And early wins are the bait. What's that prayer, "Lead me not into temptation", but thank you for sharing, blessings Roy

This writing is clear and I did not notice any typos. :-) I was so nervous when you were saying that you kept putting in more money to the casino. I am not a gambler, and if I put money into a machine, I want a snickers bar and return. Or a Pepsi. I don't know why, but I am feeling very anxious after reading this. Ha ha good writing. Hugs.

I too had to go through the fire of my addictions. I had a problem with alcohol and gambling. God let me hit rock bottom on my own, then I gave my life to him and came out of the fire, stronger.

I enjoyed reading this story. It made such good sense that if you told yourself, and promised God that would be the last time you would gamble, then with His backing, He made sure you would win and get your money back, plus some.
