"Moonbeams
Illuminate
Redemptive hands reaching
Toward blinded souls who can't find
The sun."
*well done. A short but moving piece on depression.

This cinquain, Blinded by Darkness, has the proper formatting and finds the metaphor of palms to bring our own needs for reconnection with God to light.

Thank you for reviewing my poem. Hugs.

What a beautiful image ... and also a beautiful poem. The search continues for those who can't find the sun, but still reach out ... and the moon gently illuminates, reflecting the sun, but softer, more gentle. Lovely image.

Depression is a pit where the sun can't find you, and grabbing hold is the only way out. What a wonderfully written poem.
Good luck in the contest!
Have a great day, and God bless.

Your poem depicts the long-lost soul that can never find its way out of the darkness but linger forever under the shadows of moonbeams that never go away. I like the picture. It speaks loudly enhancing your words. Good luck with the contest.

Poet,
I think you've penned a very intriguing cinquain entry here.
It is in great form and I especially like the last three lines.
Your two entry lines set the tone very well.
"Blinded By Darkness" is a well chosen title as well
as your description and photo choice.
Best wishes in the contest,
Anna

The author's words are interesting, clear and creative. I pondered on
the thought when one can't see light and how it effects depression.
The poem flows and connects well. The artwork compliments these
words.

Depression is a terrible and devastating affliction and can destroy someone's positivity and forward path. I have seen it happen and during this period in history many people have suffered from it, your words describe it perfectly here, love Dolly x

It is a very common affliction made even more complicated and prevalent by the lack of compassion of others. Thank you for your supportive comments. Hugs.
