Oh, and they are always around us... sometimes we have to look a little harder than others, but they're there!! ;) Such a beautiful offering for the season and for the times, Gypsy -- thanx so much for sharing, my lady! ;) Yvette

So often we are consumed with the trials of life and fail to see and appreciate the wonderful blessings we receive each day.
Happy New Year,

Gypsy,
A truly beautiful, illustration accompanies this post. The bird with the key in its beak is fantastic with your verse.
Thanks for this inspiring chapter.

Mark, can you do me a favor and write a chapter in the renga book? The chain of chapters got stuck for some reason. I am trying to redirect it.
Thank you for reading and reviewing it.

We all truly need happiness in our lives, without it we wouldn't smile and enjoy things to their fullest potential. Finding happiness in others is lovely too.
I hope you had a great New Year! I am falling a bit behind on reviews, so sorry for that. Stay safe!

I like the hidden meaning in your renga, at least the way I interpret it to mean. The key to happiness is most often hidden right next to our heart. Well done Gypsy.

What a great picture! But it's not a bluebird of happiness and yet it has the "key to happiness!" Having an open heart is truly key to receiving the happiness there is in front of us. Great poem!

Another fine poem, Gypsy--I hung a 'closed for repairs' sign on my heart. I went the 'open' route, and look where I am now. Lost in the dark with a black cloud permanently over my head!
