I'm glad you brought these two back. I missed their crazy conversations, Ned's off the wall answers. Your different names in this, Flatt's tires so funny. Your script is well-written, comical as always. I look forward to reading more.

Bill - I think that you are being unnecessarily rough on Pons and Ned. Look ... they knew that they needed tires and they figured out that they needed four. Let's not set the bar to high. LOL! - Jerry

I am glad to see these characters back! Well done I love the dialogue coming from the mouths of these guys. I love the name you gave to the dealership: "Flatt Tires." funny and priceless.
Well done

Dear Bill, The world sure isn't the way it used to be.
This post may be fiction but I don't think it's too far off the mark, with what any buyer would find walking in to a tire dealer nowadays.
Is this entry just imaginary, or some what autobiographical?

Sounds like my Firestone dealer. I don't think Ned would last a day without Pons protecting him. I do like the way you play one of the other of them, Bill. How long have you been buddying them up?

I see, in my portfolio, a Pons and Ned skit dated June of 2015.

The guys are 5 years old ... which goes along with Ned's mental age, doesn't it? LOLOL.

Yes, tire buying is quite an experience. We just went through that. It seems that Ned is on a budget, as he's quite concerned about the prices. Great names for the tires--Coolyear, Funstone, and foreign crap. Tarzanasia is another great name. Maybe Ned will just end up taking the bus. Another fun outing for the two. judi

I got the joke. The tires are so expensive nowadays which make you think maybe taking the bus is cheaper which is not a good idea for Covid19. I work from home so I don' t even drive much and will soon retire. My husband asks me why I still need a Tesla Cyber Truck. It's because it will drive us around or make money for us.

I find a typo in the following sentence: "git" -> "get'?
Ned: Maybe we can git one at a time, Pons.

it's great to see Ned and Pons back. Buying tires is a hassle for anyone, but with Ned along, it may prove even worse. The salesman is pretty good at his job, trying to pawn off lesser tires on them.

Thanks, Yvonne. Ned seems a bit abrasive today.
