I enjoyed your fascinating perspective on the upside-down flower and raindrop. I liked your personification of the flower and brilliant colors. Thank you for your 5-7-5 addition to the Renga book- Joan

A very well-written 5-7-5 poem in addition to the multi-author Renga book. In the early morning fresh raindrop still clinging ton the petals of the flower.

Extremely creative write based on the voluptuous artwork. It's really the kind of poem that evokes feelings and offers choices in a role playing game. The raindrop is about to fall for the irresistible petal.

Seems like the renga is in the springtime cycle now.

Thanks for sharing

Stay safe and blessed

Julia

crisp morning air holds
raindrop hanging by a thread --
aloof petal flirts

We see how the third lines seems to drift away from the images presented in the first two, but then we recognize that it fits in completely. Both fit into the complete picture.

Nice bit of personification and metaphor in this poem about morning dew and how fleeting it is. It is a nicely done haiku, Gypsy.
Keep writing and stay healthy.

You created an image here of those raindrops clinging to the flowers at dawn and quenching the scene with crisp morning glimpse of nature before the sun dries the rain, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

This is just terrific Gypsy. The imagery so clear, bright, full of life and yes speaks of the tenuous nature of life.

A fine addition to your Renga book, and a most refreshing read indeed. :)

I thought I'd already reviewed this earlier today, but apparently not. I thought it a good continuation from June's couplet. The juxtaposed ideas of hanging by a thread and flirting give a good sense of the fragility of nature.

I was very confused by the chapter numbering, but now I see you are on volume two of this book. What great achievement.
Why am I in love with this poem?
1-illustration unusually clear, I can see the raindrop
2- find image interesting that it's the air that holds the raindrop in place whilst the petal (more obvious choice) does its own thing.
Lovely
Katherine
