Ooooh! What a beautiful picture you created in this brief 5-7-5! It reminded me of that lullaby Winkin Blinkin and Nod. I could see the frosted branches like a net in the sea of midnight sky. Gorgeous!

Thanks for a wonderful review, Helen. I remember that nursery rhyme. So happy you enjoyed this write. From my bedroom window I often see twinkling stars "caught up" in the bare branches of trees.

Hello, Julia,
Thank you very much for adding a chapter to our Renga Book. It's a good fit to Zanya's couplet. Good syllable count and connection between lines, also, a beautiful presentation!
hugs,
gypsy

Dear Gypsy
Thanks for your excellent review. Your trees are quite bare now and silvered with starlight.
I'm honoured to contribute to the book.
Stay safe and blessed

Hi Julia. I love the imagery here. A beautiful vision of the night sky
Stars captured in the branches of a tree.
Nice use of alliteration -"silver stars"
The photo is beautiful and perfect for this poem.
