Brooke -- you have taken a form that is at once difficult but often filled with children's content, and have elevated it to a beautiful and spiritual artful poem. An excellent alphabetic acrostic for Christmas. This series of rhyming couplets tells the story without once mentioning santa, reindeer, elves, etc.

What a clever idea! Written in rhyming couplets, you go through the meaning of Christmas. As I read, I anticipated the more challenging letters...wondering what you would do with v and x. You did not disappoint.

this would make a marvelous picture book! I do so wish this could get published.

Terry, I was wondering what the heck I would do when I got to those letters too! LOL It's really motivating to have spent several hours on the poem before getting there since there was no way I was going to give up at that point! Thanks so much, Brooke :-)
