That is how I pronounce 'realize' also -- right or not, it sounds better that way to me. (Heck, I just found out that "wild" is one sillybell! I always thought it way Wi-ald'!) Lovely verse, perfect for the upcoming celebration. Lea Ann

Thank you, Lea Ann. I love all the different pronunciations people's accents come up with - I learned on this site that lots of Southerners think orange is one syllable - I can't even make my mouth do that!! LOL Brooke

As a novice, I haven't the right to critique such a reading delight. Beautiful and inspiring! Too bad prayers or hope aren't two syllable words for this one but none-the-less you have come up with another wonderful creation.

This is a very good holiday poem. It held my interest and it flowed with the celebration of Jesus Christ's birth. It was short, but very meaningful. Your picture choice added to your poem. Best Wishes!

Very good poem. I am happy to see that there are some holiday messages starting to sneak out. Now we can all look forward Christmas.

A lovely thought for this time of year... "Peace on earth, good will to men." You've expressed it so well in this Christmas triolet. I hope we will all be sending our prayers for peace heavenward as we sing carols this year. I enjoyed this very much.

Hi Brooke,
Isn't Christmas wonderful? so many beautiful things and scenes to write about.
You have succeeded here with a joyful Christmas Carol of your own.
God Bless,

Christmas is in the air, right? Here the stores are already sellking Christmas accessories, but the Christmas carols are not yet sung in my church. I have yet to learn about the triolet, but here I note that the first line is repeated three times and the second twice. This makes the poem flow very nicely and fluently...

Thank you, Belinda - yes, it is now Advent, so we are at least singing Advent songs in church and lighting the advent candle each week :-) Brooke

This is lovely, Brooke. I could almost put a tune to it and make it a Xmas Carol in itself. It has a wonderful lilt to it. Glad to see you are getting into the spirit early! :)

Thank you, Adele - I'm so glad you heard the musicality in my triolet - that is why I love this form. And I wrote this on the first Sunday of Advent, so I'm not early!! :-D Brooke

Brooke, you always have the best refrain lines ever! I really enjoyed this, especially with Christmas so close. I love the line, "I send my wishes Heavenwards." You must really like writing this poetry form! You do it well, my friend.
