Hearts broken - can't mend.

Nanette Help....the WEbster dictionary says un able is two and that able is one syllable. Should I be looking elsewhere for the syllable count or is the dictionary sufficient. A poet I am not and I feel stupid telling all the poets that the dictionary says its right. Thanks for the help and the review. CArol
