This is a sweet piece. It flows really well. The tone is gentle and calm but strong with emotion. Each line is measured and each stanza ends with a line that keeps it complete.
I can't find a thing wrong with this. Very nice work.

Such strong emotions in a short poem, imagery is very well done as I can relate well to these feelings myself. I enjoy your poetry I'll keep reading as you keep writing.

One can appreciate the beauty of this work by simply seeing the amount of emotion it conveys.
I am impressed on many levels by it's complexity and intriguing word usage. The emotion cannot be denied. It reaches the heart of the reader and remains there.

Sentiments we can all relate to I think! Nothing as comforting as a big hug ('cuddle' in Scotland). Sadly I don't get many these days! Flows beautifully and makes me feel that embrace! Much enjoyed your writing.

This is beautiful, I really enjoyed it. The emotion and voice of the speaker is so genuine and sincere, just a tired and honest request. It is so true that sometimes all we need to make the world melt away is a simple embrace. Very nice work.

Your little poem presents a nice message: the speaker will always be supportive to the loved one, even in grief. The meter is a bit rocky in places, but you probably know that. I like your rhymes.

Sally, yes, I believe there is some honing to be done here. I just wrote it yesterday...perhaps should have "lived" with it a little bit before posting.
