Solace is a word that takes the reader into that perfect place where all hurts can be healed, all pain erased.
I love this poem, and the feelings it inspires.

A beautiful and emotional piece, this comes from the heart I think, and reminds me of someone who was so dear to me, again a picture would have really hit this off for some higher marks I am sure.but a very nice poem none the less.

I thought this just has to be a lady who wrote this, because that is all they want that is all they need from time to time. A big hug, an embrace, they just need their man to lean on. This poem was obviously all of that with some good rhyme. Blessings Albert.

This is a great piece of poetry 6teezkid. I was just wondering, did you leave the extra space in the 1st stanza for a reason? You can edit it again and take it out just in case you didn't know that. I see you're pretty new to the site. Just letting you know. Great write. /Ron
