Yvette,
A most dramatic artwork pairs up with lovely written contest entry. I am spreading my wings and open to new ideas for this day. Thanks for your opportunity to explore.

You are right I suppose...what we take on face value as forgiveness can be more than a shelter for the future. When you make amends with someone and try to start anew...that someone can also be a strength for you to lean upon!
A good little poem that is quite deep. Best wishes for the contest!

I hope you are not tired of hearing this yet, but you have another winner. There are a handful of writers on FanStory that could take all the prizes. You're one of the leaders of that pack. But the committee clearly tries to spread the prize. So, this one may not win. It should though. You captured forgiveness in a way that makes me want to fly with happiness and freedom.

My inspiration, MQ -- that's you!! Thank you, THANK YOU!! ;) :) I'm so glad you think so, but I promise not to hold my breath on it - LOL! ;) Forgiveness is one of those two-edged swords that cuts the bonds of both parties, yeah? The world could use a whole lot more of it rather than the 'live in vengeance' mode of social media... sigh. Have a Terrific Tuesday down there, my beautiful friend and STAY DRY!! ;) ;) Yvette :)

Excellent ...
It has at the centre a true confession of the heart forgiveness is an act of progression that allows us not to rest on our laurels that belongs to salvation the strength to fly is the hope which is invigorated in us through this forgiveness and delivers the strength much needed for another day ...

social media could be classed as the salvation ... lol.

Provocative and well stated.
Forgiveness will indeed loosen the chains that bind and set one free allowing misdeeds to not hinder them with unnecessary burdens.

"Eternity's Embrace"
Is a 15 Syllable Poem Contest Entry.
Rich in Theme and Imagery.
It read well and flowed well with no Grammar Issues.
..
The Adjective and Objective Contents were both Excellent and Exceptional while Descriptive Measures aligned Perfectly.
Thanks and good luck with this
