I liked this one. You listed it as free verse, but I think its really more in the vein of prose poetry. But the patterns of repeating words and phrases worked up a nice little music in the language here, and you revolved around that great central image of walking with God. We go through the creation with him, we feel his forgiveness, his compassion, we feel his hope and redemption. We move from a sense of self to a sense of giving, and I think that is really at the heart of what God is all about. nice one estory

I like the end, and as Joesph was a carpenter, so, was the strength of Jesus. I enjoyed reading this poem, for unto us is a responsibility to care about our planet. Nicely written.

Brings to mind an old time gospel song, heard in a clapboard church from the congregation (no choir) which I believe was entitled "Just a closer walk with Thee."

I find this poem to be very graceful in the manner of God. I do not know much about Acrostic Poetry, but I can see that you have put a lot of effort into this poem. The picture you used helps give a more encountering tone with the poem. Nice job!

Well done. If only we could meet God in person, it might clear up a few issues. I guess we have to trust in God to do what is best, but how incredible it would be to walk with him!
