I have my memories and I'm holding them tight. They are the only thing that can't be taken from you physically. Mentally, it's a different story. :( This is a lovely little poem, my dear friend, and the picture couldn't be more perfect. Big hugs, my wonderful friend, and love you lots! :)) Sandra xxx
I'm busy trying to get my book finished in the editing. Such a lot of work to get it right. How are you? I've been thinking of you and your mom. You are taking care, now, aren't you? Ian is struggling, but getting there slowly. That's all we can ask, we just don't want him going backwards again. More hugs, my friend. xxxxxx

I understand about you trying to finish your book...think about you and Ine guite often...I wish there was something I could do for him...my heart breaks when I think of all he has been through...and even though I know God is right there with him...it has to be hard...mom is doing well for all she is going through...I can't even imagine...I wish I could have gone before my husband...just not at 54 years old...say Hi to Ine for me...and you take care as well...he so needs you...your his guardian angel...lots of hugs and love to you both...Linda xxoo

Your poem is great! The picture got my attention -- then, reading your poem, I discovered it ties in perfectly with your theme... true and everlasting love... the image of the individual alone shows just how private the 'special' showing is --- for the 'one and only.' Clever and well written poem!

What a lovely thought..I agree that true love stays with you forever. Memories of my husband and I when we first met and all the times we shared are still fresh in my mind. I wouldn't want to forget. Thanks for sharing.

This is a great poem, Linda, about memories of true love. The picture + your well chosen words create a memorable poem. It is bittersweet, but can be interpreted several ways--one seated cinema replaying true love memories--great lines! Good job & thanks for sharing. Jan

Hi there;
I call these memories 'old tapes.' It seems that will star playing unbidden at times. Their presence in your life isn't always positive, and you so wish for them to stop playing. My problem is that I am forced to sit in the movie theatre during my dreams. I wake up thrashing about, as I don't want to see the scenes of a lost love,

And not only true love. Some memories, both good and bad, have a habit of hanging around forever or at least for our individual forevers. Others, again both good and bad, for some reason recede from our consciousness. I wonder why. I wonder what will be showing in the one-seated cinema tonight.

Linda,
I can't figure out why you don't post more often. You almost always bring a new twist to things and make me impressed ALL OVER AGAIN at your talent for observing things in different ways. (What makes it sooo cool is that you share your unique perspectives with US.)
This was just beautiful. Really - It should have been entered into a contest. Wow. And the image you've chosen works perfectly with it.
Thanks so much!

Hi Linda,
What a wonderful dream--enduring love played over and over throughout life.
A beautiful sentiment and one to certainly aspire to.
I like the comparisons you have chosen and they are quite effective
Blessings

Nice mesh or artwork and words. This is a good metaphor for the movement
of memories in your mind when you are alone. Then it is a full theater when
you share it with others.
