Hi Teresa,
Your poem is written very well although I've never heard of a shooting at Orlando. I'm having a tough time writing anything lately. I guess I'll keep to the poems although I'd like to write more about "Dreams Come True". I just can't think of anything more to write although I did start another chapter. It even takes me a long time to write a poem. LOL

Sorry if you posted anything in the last week or so - I didn't review as I was gone. The Orlanda shooting was a month ago and many people were killed and injured when a man went in a gay night club and started shooting. It was horrible. Thanks so much.

I personally live 40 mile from Orlando and after event no matter your sexual preference the whole area was sadden..we have a coined phrase down here now.."Orlando strong" this area is a diversed culture and people and we all come together over this violent act. you can call it our 9-11. if you get the time stop over to the fanartreview side and read the artist notes that I put to this illustration of mine that you have selected. even though it did win the "Civil Rights Art" contest it had more meaning to me and it will be educational..wink. I want to personally thank you for selecting my work and it does work well together. it is honor and thanks again..great job overall..mkflood

yes thanks for the review as well..as for gay..even though I'm male hetro and white whos says that I cant understand to be in human and understand other feelings and respect them. I grew up in Mississippi and was the only white boy in the class in school. trust me I totally understand about being singled out just by looks. sometimes I would wish we were all gray and one sex but as human we seem to like to bitch about someone. I hope because I'm not woman that it will still give you incentive to select my work for future projects..i draw everything...oh yeah one more thing if you get the time check out any of my illustrated music videos on YouTube under the account name mkflood. they do human stories to them that anyone can relate. thanks again.

I didn't pick your artwork because I thought you were female, simply because I liked it and it fit my poem. I will indeed check it out again. Mostly I use google images but I try to use fanart if I can find something. I like your drawings - looked through your portfollio.

= They just arrested a guy in Tucson, AZ last week for plotting to hit government buildings in PHX, and another town in eastern AZ.
= Sad to say, I don't see it getting any better, but more to the point, worse.

This is a great poem and it is perfect for the idea that you had when writing it. I would only suggest changing the last line to being 'for the human race' or something like that. But this is beautiful and inspiring.
