I think it's too bad you can't do what you want with your member dollars, cents, or whatever. And I'm sad to see anyone quit writing because of feeling 'blocked.' I have a suggestion: maybe you could write things just for fun -- like limericks,for instance (no, not dirty jokes that rhyme; I'm talking about clever ones, about all sorts of things). I have lots of other ideas about writer's block, but I'll stop sticking my nose in your business. Maybe after a some time away, you'll feel artistically energized again. I hate to review just to collect the member dollars but I was curious as to who and why someone was paying this amount. I'm sorry you are leaving FS. Don't rule out the option of coming back though. Blessings to whatever and wherever life takes you.

Perhaps a break or vacation from FS, rather than a departure.
We can't lose Mickey Mantle fans, there aren't too many of us left! I grew up in North Jersey, Maywood, and was I Mantle fan from the early days, the glory days, as Springsteen would say.
I have one Mickey card, but not from my early collection. Those disappeared in the great bin of lost card stories.
I would save some of your dollars in case you decide to return. hopefully, that is the case.
I write occasional stories, but most poetry. The variety helps me to keep going.
Whichever way you decide, I wish you well.
(and the Yankees, too, they need all the help they can get)

Hi John... my friend... never say never... and like they also say on Shark Tank... maybe we can negotiate a better arrangement? Hmmmm, what's your price?
Believe me when I say this...for you to give up on writing... especially your passion and talent for children's stories would be a totally travesty-a waste of your God-given talent to relate and entertain... and with that moral code that drifts through your work... maybe it's not here... but don't give up the fight... it may not be now and you may not feel you have the energy to burn right now... but like I've said... never say never.
I'm going to send you my email address, as I don't wish to not have you in my life in some fashion... your choice obviously. I've been so out of touch on site of late... My Mother's been battling cancer/cancers... and it nearly has her after such a courageous battle... so most of my energy has been just trying to keep well enough to do the seven-eight hour drive once or twice a week to be with her... she so agitated and confused and pleading to go home, so it a hard thing to see and experience... but I also know it's an inevitability... how we go out is another question... but anyway I'll p/m you Brother... with a very fitting six to show of my appreciation of an exceptional writer who will be sorely missed on this site.

You could use your dollars to promote work or gift voucher. So sad to see this happening my friend. Its sad that it ends this way. I would keep the dollars and take a short break, then see if the passion and quill returns...it usually does....I pray you stay.

I'm not writing as much as I did when I first started several years ago, but something still bubbles out of me from time to time. And when it does I still enjoy putting the words on paper and playing with them to try to maximize their effect on a potential reader. Perhaps your muse will revisit you after a short hiatus.
