This is a super snippet of a story, but it doesn't really qualify as true flash fiction because it isn't a WHOLE story. It's more like what they call a 'moment of time' story. You're sharing what happened in that moment when these two people re-meet, but flash fiction requires a beginning middle and end, just like a short story, only packed into a shorter version. Does that make sense? If you had him explaining where he'd been and then whys of it, that might help...?

The writing was good though, nothing worth remarking on. I like seeingyou writing fiction!

Hi Robyn, thanks for the great review. It makes a lot of sense what you are saying, and it is no longer a flash fiction piece. I've also been encouraged to continue the story by most of my reviewers so I will be working on that. All the best. Ulla:)))

Well written for it held my interest straight through. The relaying of emotion within the dialogue was excellent.

Awwww, I like happy endings. He should have let her make the decision to break it off but we don't know why he was in prison. Still they love each other. She could have been his redemption. Thought provoking story. Ulla. Well done. Nancy
