I love your poem and I've always liked Kurt Wenner's work. I'm amazed at how he uses perspective to create amazing art. This rating is for this and all of the other poems of yours I've enjoyed.

Ah, this is beautifully written and seems to encompass all the arts, including writing. All art, writing included, is so subjective. But we all know what we like, and we are all enriched for the artists sharing. Good luck.

I love the rhythm in this poem and way you have rhymed it doesn't distract from the meaning. It is a fitting tribute to all artists.

A thought-provoking writing
in a flow of words that chisels
itself into a building block of
thoughts, much like a building
going up, one brick fitting
perfectly into the one next
to it, until a monolithic masterpiece
is built that surpasses all around
it.
The piece of artistry you have written
is akin to that building and will
certainly stand tall and monumental
in this contest.
Well done and good luck

A beautiful poem, Sue. Your rhymes are perfect and your meter is great. Your appreciation of art shines through here. You have a great entry for the contests. The picture too, is amazing. Is it not 3D? Good luck in the contest.

Hugs

Roisin

Very well done. It certainly fits the parameters of the contest. They rythm and the rhyme is wonderful. I found nothing that needs correction. Best of luck in the contest.

A nice bit of writing, and I liked the picture you used with it. There's an artist waiting to get out of each of us, some knows how to let it out better than others. Good luck.

I really enjoyed this beautiful poem, Sue. It speaks eloquently of something we're all familiar with, yet don't often put into words. It flows well, with natural rhymes. I particularly like "common language" - it is; and "change" - one of the greatest forces for change in the world. Good luck with the contest. :)
