I always wished I had a sister, but it never happened. Your love for Diane is clearly evident in this beautiful posting. I am truly sorry she is gone. She sounds like she was a wonderful person. Hugs, Janet

Oh, Linda, this is beautiful and so well presented. I loved how you sandwiched her poem between your poem and your notes and all of it shines through with your amazing sisterly love!! Virtual six!
Her poem is very deep and expresses the ups and downs of life symbolized by the swinging. She always looked for the silver lining but she saw so much brokenness. Even so, as she embraced life, she was able to fuse all those hard memories into the "sand and grey" that is was and accept them. You were there for her throughout. Wow. This tells me so much about both of you! ð???ð???

no longer shinning, (shining)
move to far from her. (too)

HI Helen, I am honored with your virtual six...Thank You...
and for your help...all fixed...
when your a child...the years 5-7 are so important...what you
are told...what you would feel like stay with you all your life...even if you marry money...the thoughts are still there...I think those nuns in the orphanage stole her worth...
always making her feel like wetting the bed, sucking your thumb, crying, ... were a sin...she left that place at seven...
and she was still wetting her bed at 10-11 years old...
the great times in my sisters life...was when her grand kids were born...she came to life for them...she still had problems...but she still had times of laughing and being happy...
and you are so right...she did look for the silver lining in life...but she was broke...and she was a very religious person...she always prayed to God...sometimes saying...He doesn't love me...and I would tell her...you don't believe that...I think God knew...she was tired...sigh...
Thank You my sweet friend for an amazing review...
Diane was a special person...and didn't even know it...tears...
love you Lots...Linda xxoo
