Aww, meerkats are awesome animals. I really hope Eric likes them. You've described them and their habits excellently in this poem. Has he ever watched the lion king? I think he would enjoy those movies.

They are cute little things. Cute but I'm sure deadly. Those claws and teeth I'm sure the critters can do some damage. It's interesting about them being so smart, how they solve problems. I guess being as little as they are with so many predators it's probably wise to stay in large groups. This is very well-written, interesting, very educational. I look forward to reading more.

They are cute little things. Cute but I'm sure deadly. Those claws and teeth I'm sure the critters can do some damage. It's interesting about them being so smart, how they solve problems. I guess being as little as they are with so many predators it's probably wise to stay in large groups. This is very well-written, interesting, very educational. I look forward to reading more.

What a marvellous episode Sandra, you are a prolific writer, I love this series, so thank you for them, and Eric must be blessed out of his ever loving socklets. My wife loves these meerkats, but from human perspective eating the little ones isn't great. Wonderful post my friend, blessings, Roy

Ok, this one older kid that found this really interesting. When ever I run across something like this, I'm always amazed how animals are so versatile, and how they work together. This was so much fun to read, and thanks for sharing.

Yup the male cats are eating the babies that is why mommy cat is so protective.

Awe, Sandra, this is just so interesting. I have to say that I don't know the first thing about the Meerkats, but you have taught me a great deal about them. How clever they are when the go haunting and kill the scorpion. Yikes. I love this series. A big hug. Ulla xxx
