Nicely done! And you didn't choose a limited syllable line scheme but gradually reduced a syllable per line. I really liked the naught-thought rhyme. And I liked the overall feeling of words not being necessary as the lovers communicate with touch and are so close they know each other's thoughts. Best to you in the contest!

Its EXCELLENT ...
It is a dream where the silence of whispers are lingering becoming eternalised in the endurance and constancy of the senses. It moves with grace and deliberates the longing and soul of compassion with a desire of embrace which smoulders in the imagery and word choice which is brave and a delight. It shines through with a voice of caring and celebrates the wisdom of listening, here it embeds itself in the memory and becomes a part of the spiritual with the touch of acquired and experienced passion.

You are not usually sappy at all. This one is downright romantic. You make us wonder why are the whispers fading into naught. No one is talking now, but touching and thought are going on. Interesting. You give us something lovely to think about.
Well done as usual.

I thought this a very nicely penned Valentine's poem and I'm sure it will get a lot of votes. It flows nicely and I always like verses that have at least some rhyming. Good luck

This is a well-written poem for the Valentine poem contest. I love your sentiment that your love continues both because of touch and thought. Great job! Thank you for sharing and have a wonderful day.

P.S. I apologize for being so far behind!! Was a crazy week and I have all the boys home this weekend (HOORAY!!).... I'm attempting to get caught up while they're outside working on cars!! Don't know how far I'll get, but we'll see!! ;) :)

Very eloquent in verse and thought. The entire sense of two loves converging into one is beautifully expressed here. There is a deepening of the virtue of love transcending here. Very nicely expressed.

Hi Yvette,
Very ethereal - love the way it floats - using )naught( adds a sense of vintage and an ungoing passage of time to the feeling. The shifting font colors add energy to the emotion and senses of hearing and feeling. Neat art, too. - Lobber

Thanx so much for noting the colors' effect on the words, Lobber... some do not agree with the font manipulation but, after being a teacher of teenagers for so long, I've concluded that color and presentation make a world of difference: from the color pen with which I grade to the placement of a simple smiley face or heart here and there on a not-so-great paper... yeah, the pen's a case of 'spoonful of sugar yada-yada', but it's the same principle as color of font on a presentation! ;) Take care! ;) Yvette

What do you know, a sappy blond. You said that not me.
I really like this piece. It has very good meter and pacing. It reads really well and the message is cool. You track the relationship over time and there's even an inference that relationships change but they don't go away.
That's a good one.
I meant to ask you if Werner Von Braun was the right answer to your dear Abby story.
