Great job!loved tge imagery the rhymes and the words you chose to paint a very vivid picture. I also liked the picture you used it added a nice touch and pulled it all together.

A great short poem to send a very powerful and encouraging message with a very apt choice of illustration to go with it. You are also right in the sense that overcoming a dear can make you feel so free again . Feeling free often has connotations with how dancers feel when they perform.so q superb choice of words there too . Very well written within a very specific structure

Good job, Chip, on this short, but meaningful verse for the Four Line Poem contest. Your choice for the photograph shares the freedom that one feels as we read this verse. Well done and good luck.

There is so much wisdom in so few words! This is a poem that encourages and dares one to shed the negative and embrace the positive and take the risk to really live not just existš???š?„°

An interesting four line poem. The meaning is well intended for fear. I see nothing wrong. The rules are met and the contest should appreciate these strong words.

Hey what a great moving testimonial to one's dreams and how we should not allow our fears to keep us from climbing to the top of our desires and making something good out of ourselves. Read Review mine, also. lolol liberty justice

Chip,
I like poems that SAY something. All too often, people write just to write - and the things they produce don't always have a real message or meaning to them. (I can't say much, though, because invariably, my own messages are rather stupid. haha)
The point is -- I liked this. It's smart and unique and well-presented. I would have appreciated a bit larger font - but I suppose that's personal preference and you don't have to make your posts for old folks like me. ha
So, thanks - I enjoyed!

Thank you, Robyn. I have had others suggest a larger font, so probably something I should consider!!

This is a great poem. Vivid images enlarge it beyond its restricted format.
As you say in your author notes, fear can confine one in a self imposed comfort zone. Breaking free isn't easy but its necessary for development.
If the contest hasn't been decided yet, I wish you the best of luck.
