Great job, again, Dean. I love the way the kids were sneaking up on the barn on a dare. All kids do this at some point or another. I suspect you did it often. I know I did from time to time, and then the way the farmer chased the kids off was classic!
As always, I love your work!

Sure, I appreciate the help and patience you show us newbies as we struggle to become the types of writers you and the others are!

I'm afraid the music didn't play Dean, I wasn't sure of the meaning of the final so pen, was it the children who spoke, but I guess it had to be the man with the pitchfork, but as usual great presentation, sorry, well done, blessings, Roy.

A-w-w-w well. The music is only an intro anyhow, and not integral to the story in any way.
Basically, one of the scarecrows brought to life and held inside the old barn escaped, and confronted the newest group of thrill seekers, Roy. That's about it, my friend.
Take care...:)

Thanks Dean, as always a gentleman, Roy.

This really gave me the creeps. There was an old, rundown, abandoned house near ours that people told us a family was murdered and their spirits still lived there. We always crossed over to the other side of the street, keeping our distance. We were convinced there were ghosts inside and sometimes heard strange noises coming from inside late at night. The idea of a barn filled with scarecrows after they have turned. This is one of your best and brought back some not so fond memories of my childhood. Great work with this one.

You mean you never went inside?! I would have had to as a kid. I was one of those kids who would sleep in a cemetery on a simple dare. I did exactly that, as a matter of fact, and walked a mile at midnight to get there in the dark. I was just 14 years old. Boy, did I get my behind busted by dad when I got home, heh-heh!
Thanks so much for your continued interest in these tiny tales of terror. I very much appreciate it. ~Dean :}
