Well I guess we're talking about a "proper' sort of rogue ;) since at least he didn't give any false hopes. Everyone makes their own decisions and what happens after that ... a learning experience for all involved. However not here to philosophize ;) and the poem was well done. The rhyme and rhythm worked very well and the story is clearly told, in the proper shade of gray ;) Well done! Blessings! Pat :)

David! You scoundrel! Where the heck have you been? It's so nice to see a posting from the Rogue. As usual, your meter is flawless, and your knave seems up to his old tricks. Did he really go off in hunt of fresher prey, when he had so many willing playmates here?
