Your excellent poem highlights a dreadful ritual that is cruel and disgusting. It seems to me there are too many countries that treat women like bits of meat on a slab. I wonder what would happen if the women turned and did something equally horrific to the men who insist on doing these things. This is written well and needed to be highlighted. xsx sandra

Its barbaric and man made, it has little to do with religion. Sometimes I wonder of the human race and who man thinks he is.

Susan, I found this Piece of poetry to be an excellently written in a way that faceted the fruits of a woman away from her livelihood. This crucial mutilation of a woman's private parts is not only their private parts of her mind and soul.
Sacrificing her fruit for the they might as well tear out the top so they cannot taste the natural fruit of life. Thank you so much for sharing imposing this for others and may the Lord be with you and yours always.
