This is a very interesting free verse. The writer is very descriptive in the beginning, in the middle and in the end. The writer does a good job of getting the message acro$$.

This is such an excellent poem. I could find not one SPAG issue AND it describes the passage and life experience of us women so well.

Excellent evolution of you. It's funny how everything seems to cycle back, the mystery of the pieces assembling to a picture that we already recognize in past and future. Love your closing stanza.

This is a great write. I never thought of writing an autobiography in free verse. But, in your hands, it seems to work extremely well. Of course, it is not all over yet. So, I'll look forward for more. I enjoyed the read. Your friend, Bob

Sharyn, this is so intimate and real. I can almost see the angel over your head, dictating words and putting thoughts in your head to create this beauty

I wish I could give you a six for this. It has to be one of the best of yours. You tell your life story here. I love the lines:

Occasionally meeting my old self on the way still puzzled. Haven't I done all this before?

And the last stanza is so meaningful.

Thanks for sharing.

Girl, you come with the most amazing images. Billy Collins would be proud of you. The picture is so perfect for the content. The innocence of childhood where the smallest detail is a miracle. Love the growing -up years with disillusionment after marriage --is that all there is?
What a miracle ending -spiraling upward, but meeting your old self on the way. Such when we think life doesn't get any better, our body betrays us. That's when we realize there's more to life than material things. I still can't give you a six, but I do hope this is selected for the poem of the month.
Hugs,
Shari

I doubt very much the magic Committee will even notice Shari - their choices always surprise me, and not usually in a good way! :)))S Glad you enjoyed this one!

I hear you. They seem to be about nature for the most part. And end rhyme is always there.

This is a fantastic, exceptionally well-written poem about your beginning, middle, and end. I only wish I had a six left to give you.
