This poem can take one down many diverse avenues of thought...Deep love...Contemplation...or just simply a pleasant vacation respite! R4eader's choice.
Well written. Your style of formatting is interesting...you create different points of view with your "pillar of words."
Intriguing!

Your ultra-relaxing poem is very well-written. Alliteration is effectively used.
For some reason, I'm thinking of those old commercials--"Calgon, take me away"! In this case--Sea breeze, take me away! LOL

Beautiful poem about the beaches of Hawaii. I loved the doppled kisses, ocean rollers smoothly sinking into sweet sea sleep.-Gary

Aloha Sharyn, We are so blessed to live in Hawaii. I love your poem describing our paradise so well. I'm sure all the people on the east coast would love to be here. Thank you for sharing and reminding me to be grateful.. Have a blessed day. Aloha, Ginger

This morning in this cold and rain, this poem sounds like Heaven.
Living in Michigan, we are called the "Mitten State" as we are surrounded by water on most sides. Today the waves in Lake Huron, to our East, the waves are 32 ft high.... The winds from Sandy.
Blessings, Jo

That's a relaxing visual. Great calmer for a beach bum like me. I go alot, but more to be the pack mule for 2 little girls determined to pick up every broken shell they find. Even with my role being the labor, I get lost in the sound of the waves and staring out into the water.

The picture looks like paradice, Sharyn, and if you spent your afternoon there, you're a lucky lady.
I really like 'warm honey sun'. Also the alliterated 'wind' line - sure beats rotten eggs. LOL.
Top 's' alliteration throughout and relaxing and dreamy images conveyed.
Nice one.
Best wishes, Ray

I doubt my Pensioners Bus Pass (had it for 2 years and only used it 3 times - I HATE buses) will get me that far, Sharyn. Maybe I could pay for the flight with 'Fanstory Lucky Leprachaun Certificates'? LOL xx

Hmmm, at the beach? Napping in the warm sun?
Letting soft breezes waft over you as the sun caressed your skin?
Love the "soft scented salty" line you used here.
The smell of the salt water, beach shorelines is always so refreshing and appealing.
