What a clever witch - while all the others have outdone each other with spells to look gorgeous, she has cast a spell on herself to look hilariously quirky, thus standing out and showing the prince she has a sense of humor and individuality.
What a fun way to incorporate the theme of orange socks into micro fiction - great humor and a fun reveal at the end, showing she actually is a beauty :-) Brooke

This was a cute, funny story and all in 100 words. You followed the contest ruled and pick and addressed a theme. I like the orange socks with combat boots.

Orange socks are very cleverly woven into your story. Story very well done, not forced, in 100 words.
One nit: 3rd line, no 'the" just him.
Your words created images and emotions throughout. I smiled at the humor and smiled at the twist at the end. I enjoyed. Wish you the best in the contest. JudithMarie

Begin Again,
Your micro fiction entry is a very clever story within that short word limit. So, Prince Gargoyle saw her beauty all along, so to speak?
Loved your dancing artwork too!

Jada,
I find the micro fictions far more difficult than regular stories...Hard to control my words or mouth I guess...LOL
Glad you enjoyed.

Oh, that picture is smashing; I love it.
I wonder if the rule of 'cold hands, warm heart' always rings true.
The prince may have taken quite a chance.
But, alls well that ends well.
'..as they danced and charmed (the) him.

Lola,
Such a silly little story...I think it is more difficult to write these micro-fictions than a regular story. I hate being limited in words. Thanks for the review. Smiles, Carol
