I'm really getting to like this poetry style, Brooke, and it's because you write them so well that I hardly even notice the repetition. Excellent poem.

You make this have a sing-song quality to it. It's a wonderful poem that flows off your tongue. Very enjoyable. Great job.

Brooke, you've painted an idyllic picture of Christmas blessing; and what a superb image!

Loved these:
As carols sing of peace on Earth
I send my wishes Heavenwards
on this the day of Jesus' birth

This was very festive; and sang praise to the upcoming holiday; it brought holiday to my room, and I thank you.

Hi, Brooke, This triolet gives the reader the sensation of a music box turning. I really love the thought of carols singing pure and Holy words. Again, my thanks for sharing. Mary

adewperal,
I loved your reflective triolet poem "As carols sing of peace on earth". This poem is well constructed. This triolet is a great offering after your poem "Peace". I liked the line:
"I send my wishes Heavenwards".
There is nothing to change the poem is excellent. The art work is great.

Your Triolet was very well done, I know the form, but have not written one in a good while. I enjoyed the words used and the picture was chosen well for this piece. No spag, and, of course nothing that I would want to change,

Thank you very much for sharing this Holiday poem with us, I enjoyed the sentiment so much.
My Best Regards. :-)

Brooke,

I guess it's the season, even if it isn't quite December yet. I enjoyed this Christmas carol and found nothing to criticize.

I sense a theme here. I know your saying 'Duh Tony!' I know it's the time of Christ's birth. I'm just wondering if we will delight in a poem a day from you till the 25th. This one is very hopeful in nature.

I don't know if all my poems between now and then will be about Christmas, but I'm sure a bunch will be, at least :-) Thank you, Tony - you're a peach. :-) Brooke

adewpearl,

I enjoyed reading your triolet "As Carols Sing of Peace on Earth," It is reflective and it sends a message of peace and the true meaning of Christmas. Here is one of my favorite parts of it.

"as carols sing of peace on Earth
I send my wishes Heavenwards."

Your presentation is beautiful as well!
