Well, Sue, as I'm a devout Communist, I must say, completely without bias that this poem is complete rubbish! LMAO
While they're doing all this printing, it wouldn't do any harm to post me a coupla million bucks to get me through the week, the heartless swines! ;-)
With this and the other one I just reviewed, it seems you're back on form. Certainly your poetry is. Fast-paced AABB rhyme scheme and you make a strong point in an entertaining way. Great read, love, Ray xx

Dear Comrade, your check is in the mail! HA!!! So is mine. Love hearing those money presses rolling. Thanks for my guru, er, I mean Comrade's great compliments on this work! Big hugs, Sue

I'm not raelly, Sue, though I had those views in my younger days. I'm now 'liberal' is probably the most accurate description. Centre/left, but definately NOT right wing. xx

I could easily assume you didn't care for Mrs. Thatcher, then? LMAO!!!!!

Me? I loved her! She and Ronnie, baby! I am not a raging right-winger.
Just call me a definite right of center on social issues and even more 'right' on fiscal policy.

Ya still love me? Even tho I liked Maggie? Ha!
reply by Domino on 10-Mar-2009
Yer, I still love ya, despite you having ridiculous political opinions, LMAO!! When that witch, Maggie got the boot, there was a picture in the papers of her crying as she was driven away. Didn't think the bitch had a tear in her, even for her own selfishness. Maybe she got a hint and a qualm of how the millions of working-clas people who's lives she had callously destroyed, felt. No, that's unlikely, as she was going back to her life of luxury. Anyway, I cut it out, framed it and gave it pride of place in my living room. I had endless laughs over it.
I can see how Americans idolised this devil, as they didn't have to live under her, and I'm sure only saw this 'so British Iron Lady.
I've VERY RARELY hated anyone, but I sure hate her.
    That's better! Ranted out. ROFLMAO.
Now, do YOU still love ME? ;-) xx

Well, your point is taken. When one doesn't live close to a situation, we sure don't have all the facts. I suppose I always looked at her time in power with the big picture of privatization (which, as you know by now, I am a capitalist pig) HA!!

But, not to the detriment of others. Just that I'm a free-market thinker.
IMHO, GB would have been in much worse shape economically today if it did not privatize many companies. Having lived in Australia, I witnessed PM Paul Keating actually rescue Australia from falling off the map. Monopolization and mostly state-owned industries and others with extreme regulations nearly crippled the nation.

Anyway, we could discuss these things for 100 years and still get nowhere. Loved your story about hanging Maggies picture up! You're something else!!!

There's always two sides, Sue. Who knows what the perfect answer is. At the end of the day it's survival of the fittest. I was offeren the Prime Ministership, by popular demand. However, I had to declins as FS takes up all my time. LOL!
    I sure respect your opinion.
Hey, when I met my ex-wife, she was a right-winger and I was ultra-left. She agreed with my views in the end, but only after I promised to de-chain her and let her out the cellar after five years! ;-) xx

We all want the "good for people". The dispute is always about "how".

Glad your wife came on over to your side. At least she was smart enough to fool you to get out of the cellar! HA! You kill me!

    Luv ya, Ray

Feeling a little temperamental today friend, that was a well written little outburst that should reward you with some interesting reviews I think. I don't care how much money they throw around Sue it never seems to reach the people that need it the most friend, they just make it sound like it will. I enjoyed you RELEASE friend, good on ya mate.

They will continue to create "new and improved" stimulus packages with all kinds of fancy names. But, as you say, it will not help anyone except get disbursed to only God knows where. They already are investigating what happened to a lot of the original $750b package from November. This is some scary shee-it! And it worries the daylights outta me. After reading Reggie's rant today, I had to let go, too. I'm so worried about our country. Not just on the monetary side of things, either. Thanks so much for your review, Hitch. :-)) Sue

Ah...A political commentary in such a neatly flowing rhyme scheme. Your lines are well said. You have gotten your thoughts on the stimulus package across nicely. The picture you used illustrates it well. Good job.

Yeah, had to let it rip today. I'm just sick about how we can even use the word "billions" so lightly these days. Which are now adding up to "trillions". Incomprehensible. Thank you for your very kind review. With regards, Sue

Your rhyme is good with this quite evident sarcastic and ticked-off poem. I never comment on politics in mixed company. No matter who -- I certainly wouldn't want to be President of anything. You've done a good job of releasing your feelings here. The message is clear. I like the picture you've chosen, along with the color and use of assonance throughout. Thanks.

It's not just the President. It's our entire Congress also. They are all seizing massive control with these dollars and I'm not liking it one bit. I think discussing politics in mixed company can be healthy. Yes, it can get LOUD! HA! But, we can't hide from discussing some of the most important issues we have facing us right now. So, I dared to post this! HA! Thanks much for your comments and excellent review. With regards, Sue

Damn, that was good. I wish I had a sixer left for it would certainly be yours, my friend. A really good writing and I'm proud you're on my side, dear one.

It's all your fault, Reg. You got me on fire this morning. I already stay upset about it, but when I read your rant today, this one just poured out in about 10 minutes! LOL!!! Thanks for the "almost sixer"!! HA! Really appreciate it. Sue :-))
