I sometimes wish my girls knew the depth of my love for them, I have always been there for them! But that wasn't necessarily what happened for me. But they clothed and fed us, my dad always worked, mum was a little angry, but like you God showed me their pain. Beautifully written dear Belinda, I'm so glad you felt the unconditional love of God. Love your poem. Daddy's little girl. To be loved by our parents is so comforting and special. Sometimes we wonder what has happened to the affection that we want and need .. and it was always there.
