I am so sorry to hear of her passing. It seems like we have lost a number of members this year. This is a lovely tribute to her. I have not read her work for a while so need to look at it.

Thanks for the review, Rox. I appreciate your comments about Joan and the tribute to her. When you look her up, type in Joan E. in the search box. Make sure you include the period after E. Her name will show up in blue to the left of that.

A fine addition to the book of Joan--I feel I know her by now--so many of you mention the virtual travels with Joan--one said she termed them fanstory fantasy cruises. Fine work.

Thanks for the review, Liz. I appreciate your comments about the poem, the book for Joan, and her virtual travels. She did share many of them with us. I like the description you shared, too.

The Bible describes death as an enemy of man. in the Bible book 1 Corinthians, chapter 15, verse 26, it says: "â?¯And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing." Meaning that death itself will be permanently destroyed. The faithful who have died will be restore to life and never have to face death ever again.

This is a very touching poem that has words flowing like tears. I don't know who Joan was, but I am sure she must have been a very kind soul touching the heart of many. Thank you for sharing a wonderfully written poem!

Thank you so much, Pam! I'm so blessed by reading your tribute to Joan. You probably knew her better and longer than I did. I, too, am sorry we never got to meet in person. She's such a lovely soul.
