I applaud not only this poem but also the reasons for which it is written. Anything should be done to make it easier for people with reading disabilities. Hope your grandson sees the fun in this poem and it is able to make his reading just a little easier

What a lovely review, thank you so very much, Wils. And a big hug for the six stars, that is so kind of you. I have written some adventure stories with my grandson as the hero. His special needs school have them and I read them to the class. As long as he enjoys these books, I'll be writing them. Thank you again, your words are so encouraging. :) Sandra xx

Hello Sandra, this is so well done. A good poem, informative and interesting notes and great pictures. I love gorillas and I love this work of yours. You certainly put in a lot of time with this. I missed 'F' - was it frog? LOL! That is what I guessed it would be - I love them also. Very well done dear girl. A worthy six. Love Dorothy xxx

Aw, thank you, Dorothy. I'm giving the finished book to Eric's school, so I must make sure the facts are right and the grammar, etc is too. I'm so very pleased you enjoyed reading it, and thank you so very much for the six lovely stars! There was a great piece about motherhood, and how they can't have another infant until the one being weened is past three years old. Now, why aren't we made like that? LOL. Thanks again, my friend. I hope you still staying well. :)) Lots of love, and a big hug. Sandra xxx

What a great essay about Gorillas. Sandra. You mentioned many facts that I was unaware of. I have never seen one in real life only in books or movies. Tell Graham he did a good job on the picture. Thank you for sharing. xxx Nancy:)

Thank you so much, Nancy. I think I'd do well on one of those general knowledge contests now, I've learnt so much. Just so long as they use my choice of animals. Thanks, my friend. Hope you're keeping well? Big hugs. :)) Sandra xxx

Every time I read one of your posts I learn something new. I had no idea gorillas were so smart or they had fingerprints like humans and have 95% of our DNA or us them if you believe we came from the apes.I remember one time at the zoo a gorilla smoking a disregarded cigarette. He looked like a pro like he'd been smoking for years. Guess he watched people as they walked by. Your story is very well-written, interesting, educational. I look forward to reading more.

Thank you, Misty, I'm glad you liked this one. There is a lot of things about gorillas that are so like us, but I had to choose what to put in the book that youngsters would enjoy reading. I'm so pleased you enjoyed it. Big hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx
