A beautiful poem on remembering the past. It does make you wonder if you live your life to the fullest and if you made the right decisions. Nice job.

Hi Joan, so good to see you my sweet friend...the doc said I could read a bit more now...but still for a little while limit my self...the first eye surgery is still healing...but much better...I hope you are well...thank you so much for a wonderful review....and all the shinning stars...have a blessed Sunday day sweet girl...love you...Linda xxoo

I am glad to hear that your first eye surgery is healing well. I just started steroids--much less invasive than a hip replacement, but I'll have to see how I cope with the side-effects. Take good care of yourself- Joan

they wanted to put steroids in my eyes...but I have bad reactions from them...do you have to stay in them?...I'll keep you in my prayers...
the first surgery is slow to heal...but the second one is all healed...but both are much better...you take care as well...love xxoo

How terrific that the second surgery healed quickly and your eyes are much better. If the Prednisone works I'll be on a tapered dose for 18 days, which I can repeat 6 times a year. If not the next alternative is more invasive injections. Thank you for thinking about my health issues. Enjoy the remains of Sunday- Joan

that would be wonderful if it works for you...I hate surgery...later sweet girl...xxoo love

One must remember, none but the Christ walked perfectly. The rest of us did the best we could, given our circumstances and proclivities. Regret serves no purpose, once a thing is done, it is done. Learn from mistakes if possible and endeavor to be better tomorrow if possible. This is the stuff of life. Your poem is wonderful in that it made me smile at all of the thoughts it brought forth in my own mind concerning my memories.

Yes, we all do a lot of that as we age.
Back paddling I call it. We should just
go with the flow. Live each day to the
fullest and let the past take care of
itself. Stay Safe, Linda.Hugs, Nancy

I enjoyed your free verse, Linda. Your lines read well. I agree that everything contained on one's memories make him/her who s/he is. Some memories are better than others, but they are always there. Your presentation is great--love the image and the way you formatted the lines Thanks for sharing. Respectfully, Jan

Where would we be without our memories? Yes, every step has crafted who we are today. Every person we touched or conversed with added a paragraph to each chapter in our life.
I love your poem and the candid way you question certain memories and skip over the bad ones. A lovely sharing poem.
