You've captured the essence of your review and exploration of the Joker's character so well in those three lines. Well done. It sounds like a fascinating picture.

This was chilling. I've seen the movie but if I hadn't and just saw this trailer, I would be excited to see it. I'm a horror movie fan and this caught my attention. While more psychological than horror its still worth seeing.

This is outstanding. Each word has been carefully chosen to create the perfect whole effect. Therefore, the question arises to know whether "innocense" (rather than innocence) was a deliberate choice, or a slip of the pen.

Thank you very much for the outstanding review and six stars. I meant to type innocence.

A riveting poetic commentary on the darkness tucked away in one's mind. We all have these spaces, but not all are so well expressed as are your words. The clown image resonates with the movie description you included. Good luck in this contest... ...ec

I like your poem and the representation of the Joker. In darkness/madness, it does make sense that innocence whimpers. Thank you for sharing the back story-I have not yet seen The Joker. Good luck in the contest!

You've written an excellent 5-7-5 poem for the movie contest.
The joker has been interpreted in many different ways over the years,
as someone suffering from depression it certainly casts a different
shade over the character.
Phoenix won the award for a memorable performance.
Excellent description in your poem.
Well done
Good luck in the contest

Lol. I keep that puppy on a tight leash! Innocence is skipping and playing all over the place. Very creative poem about the boogeyman in your mind. Good luck with the contest. This one should be a contender.

So many scars of childhood determine behavior and attitude in adulthood... A wonderful 5-7-5 for The Joker! :) Thanx for sharing and best of luck at the polls! ;)
