Good Morning, Yvette!
Not sappy at all! Your Valenine's poem is lovely to me! After forty years of marriage, there are still "whispers" but it is the gentle touch and thought - the bond - that endures and transcends...
A beautiful offering that deeply resonates with me!
Thank you for sharing!

Thanx so much, Beautiful Michigan Lady! ;) The sense of truly knowing someone beyond words is something that can only be experienced...but what a fulfilling and comfortable experience it is, yeah?!! :) Hope you had a good Valentine's Day... ;) Take care out there and have a wonderful week ahead! ;) Yvette
P.S. I apologize for being so far behind!! Was a crazy week and I have all the boys home this weekend (HOORAY!!).... I'm attempting to get caught up while they're outside working on cars with their dad!! Don't know how far I'll get, but we'll see!! ;) :)

So true, my friend! I feel sorry for anyone who has never enjoyed a deep love at least once in their life! My date for Valentine?s Day was my precious gg son (4 years) and we enjoyed a delicious meal at Burger King (his choice)! Haha! Normally we have a play date on Saturdays at Mc Donald?s where they have a nice play area, so I told him he had to choose somewhere else. He always gets chicken nuggets and Choco milk. So when he picked Burger King, I asked what he would like from there. His response - chicken nuggets and Choco milk! So I guess it?s not about where we go. It?s about the nuggets and Choco milk! Haha! I hope you enjoy a beautiful week ahead! xoxo

To me this is not sappy. After forty years of loving together, my husband and I do not seem to feel the need to say "I love you, I love you, I love you " everyday. Touch and thought, touch especially ; ) convey the love quite well.

There can be many reasons to break a bond, but in a world where we overthink things, one thing remains, commitment is not a piece of rubbish to be discarded, or promises to be forgotten, if love means anything. Beautifully written Yvette, good luck dear girl, blessings, Roy

Well done my good friend.
Comment from June Sargent
It's so true. Through the years our hearts, minds, and souls do synchronize into a rhythm of their own. Words are not necessary - the bond is there. Lovely sentiments!

I will indulge you. This is a different take on a Valentine's Day poem, uniquely you. I like it. It speaks of the spiritual side we have in love, that of one spirit.
Sending you my best today as always, and my best for the contest,
Sally xoxo

Thanx for the indulgence, Lady Sal -- we ladies just have 'those days' where we actually get sentimental ... I say 'actually' because mine are very few and far between (at least to the outside world)! ;) The sense of truly knowing someone beyond words is something that can only be experienced...but what a fulfilling and comfortable experience it is!! :) Take care out there and have a wonderful week ahead! ;) Yvette
Comment from Sandra Stoner-Mitchell
This is totally gobsmackingly romantic, Yvette! It's a poem that could have two meanings. One, there is no need for words anymore, we are so in tune with the man/woman we love that our thoughts send the message through our eyes, and our hands do our talking with our caresses. Two, going deaf does not stop us from 'hearing' words of love due to the same reasons as above. It doesn't matter what way this is meant, this is a poem for all people in love. I love it! Well done and good luck in the contest!! :)) Sandra xxx

Ah, this one makes me feel a little sappy and melancholy right along with you. Amazing sometimes how so few words can create such deep feeling. Would love to know how you got the ombe effect on the font :) Well done, as always.
