This is excellent poetry and rhyming. "vital" and "survival" excellent word choices for your rhymes. I can sense in your poem that you are passionate about the second amendment.
After reading your poem, I wondered where I stand on this issue. I'm not passionate about it, as you are. I believe in the right to bear arms and protect ourselves, but I think the gun lobbyists take that protection too far. We live in a dangerous world where criminals will always find ways to gain access to weapons and use them to harm others. I know gun collectors who care very much about their guns, but would not use them to harm others except to protect themselves.
Considering my limited knowledge, my stand is to support the second amendment but not the right to bear arms beyond what is needed to protect ourselves.
Just thought I'd share my views.

Thank you for the 6 stars it is very much appreciated Yes I am very passionate about the 2nd amendment, so many want to try and do away with it and hurt law abiding citizens who would never hurt anyone except in total defense. Remember the saying if they outlaw guns, only outlaws will have them. Take care.

I give this poem five stars because it works as a poem. It provoked a strong reaction (because I don't necessarily agree.) One line seems out of sync "and all right afford to each and every man." The rhythm and meter flow seamlessly, and the line the ability to be free and freedom to stand tall is especially effective.

I believe in the Second Amendment and we have the right to gun ownership. It's funny that the only time the left attacks gun ownership is after a public shooting. Its an established fact that once you lose a freedom you never get it back. They seem to forget when you outlaw guns, only outlaws will have guns.the first word of the second line should be our not are.

If only we can get through to the ones that want to limit ownership of guns that responsible owners are not killers just because they own a gun.
