Neonewman, a very nice tribute in a poem for Mother's Day that speaks of a loving, selfless woman who surrounded you at birth with her loving arms! You conclude your poem like many of us feel towards our Mothers that there could never be a replacement for our precious mothers.

Yes there'll never be anyone like your mum, cherish her while you've got her, it won't be forever, my mum's long gone, along with dad, I have siblings left of course, but no mum. Beautifully written, articulate and smooth, the language was rich in gratitude to both mum and God, smoothly scribed in slightly varying meter, and aabb quatrains, well done, blessings, Roy

I can only imagine how proud your mother must be! This is a wonderful tribute to her and how much you appreciate her love. I teared up when I read about her singing to you. My mother used to sing and I miss her voice. :( This is a great contest entry. Good luck to you and Happy Mother's Day to a wonderful mom and her loving child.
