Great poem, I really like the way you used whales to represent Trump, very clever. At least the whales refused to build his wall, it looks like the real one might happen one day. Thanks for sharing and have a great day

Thanks. With everyone poking fun at him I wanted to come up with something different. Glad you enjoyed. Let's hope that wall never happens. They haven't worked well in the past.

The story and usage of words is absolutely great. I don't know if it's me or the poem, but I had trouble catching a natural rhythm which seemed to be there but eluded me.

Hmmm...I thought it had a rhythm. Glad you enjoyed the fun little story.

Trump bashers should go live with Hillary and Kathy Griffith. If I had written this about Obama you would be up in arms. Get over it.

It was intended in fun.

Trump whale - that's a thought. The fictional person talked about truly does 'whale' a lot.
But then again, it might be all fake new. Why would a whale need to whale, unless it found itself two-legged and not everyone agreed with him? JW

This was all in fun. The fictional whale is a bit of a blowhard, and he does seem to resemble somebody, doesn't he? Thanks for your input.

Hahahaha.
Don't worry, there will be no walls built because neither Canada or Mexico is willing to foot the bill to pay for their construction.
God knows the Trumpback Whale ain't gonna do it.
This was one whale of a tail...e-r-r-r, heh-heh... I mean tale, Cindy.
Poetically speaking, of corpse.

Glad it made you laugh. That was my intent. I think if he wants a wall he's going to have to build it himself.

You're more than welcome, Cindy, and I agree.
Let's hope he decides not to do so!

If I had a new rhyme, I would certainly rhyme it.
That trumpback's now choosing to bugger up the climate.
"I don't give a fig what those scientists say.
I'm Trump, I know better; don't stand in my way!"
Thanks for sharing this, Cindy. I wonder where that big ol' whale will throw his weight around next?

Yep, there's more I could have said, but I wasn't sure how to make that big ol' whale grope at the girls and mess up the climate. After all, he's a whale, and a whale would know better. LOL

LOL! Verrry good job having fun with Trump. If he's not the most successful president yet, he's definitely fun fodder for hilarity (and I don't mean Hillarity). :)

Thanks. Yep, he's fun to make fun of. I know everyone's doing it, but I hope I came up with something fresh.

Nothing personal, Cindy... but even as someone who didn't vote for Trump, I find all the Trump paranoia amusing. But at least you voiced your apparent disagreement with him in adult and civil terms. Good for you.

I never take any political writings seriously anymore.

A very well-written poem about the whales that seems to have the same problems at sea as what the humans had on land. There are too many wrong guys who want to stop those who's right.
