Music hath power to soothe the savage breast. Music can delight and make one cry at the same time. I am a music lover, the blues or rock as long as it's done well. This was an excellent piece of poetic art to have read and written this response for... John

This piece was very lyrical, fitting as it was about music. The rhymes were very natural and flowed from one line to the next seamlessly. Your words floated and sang down the page in a waterfall of delightful image and phrase. I identified with the message as any music lover would. Thank you for sharing your work.

Thank you, Poetic Friend, for this very kind review regarding my poem. I'm happy that you share your personal stuff with me so that I can get to know you a bit better. I, too, download songs from a number of sources. I've got a playlist of around 4,600 songs and I put it on rotate so that a random song plays each time, and has a better chance to making it out of that large playlist.
