A majestic acrostic to one that has always held my attention. You captured the feeling of his performances:
notes fly back and forth across the stage
tunes for the masses
thought-provoking...definitely

I do not normally review poetry, because I am unschooled in its nuances although I do sometime use poetry to tell a particularly emotional story. However, when I saw your title, "Eric Clayton" my favorite guitarist, I had to read it. With the first word, you captured him and I read on. Thank you for sharing your poem and love for him with me. I normall am not fond of acrostics as many of them end up as unrelated lists held together only by the needs of the initial letter. A few manage to get poetic devices inserted and to tell a story that flows on in delightful enjambment, but not many. However, this one tells a story with several instances of enjambment that create a good flow overall.
