Spring is a wonderful time that everyone seems to enjoy if springs mood is right. Your Palindrome is very well done. It is certainly a play on words. Best wishes for the poetry contest. It is easy to dream of happy things happening in the future when we dream. I enjoyed reading this.

Hi, Tony. Thank you for your thoughts. My first palindrome... a mirror poem that reads forward, then backward with the connecting word in the middle. I'm in the process of learning.

I read your poem not knowing it was a Palindrone. Funny as I thought nothing about backward lines as such. All I thoughtt about was how nice spring is supposed to be, which was refreshing, as here in the NE all we are gettng is drizzle.

Hey Dustybones...sorry about the drizzle up there :) Here in Texas we are having a cool but beautiful spring. Then we roast in a 100* rather quickly.

Hi MizKat. This is my first palindrome and I found it to be much easier than I thought it would be. I shied away for years and refused to try but was pleased that is wasn't as restrictive as I thought.
