Looking for love in all the right places, to misquote the song...a shared interest like poetry is a very good place to start. I'd juggle words to smooth up the meter here, but that's my taste, not a necessity for a fine poem.

An excellent love poem. You write about the perfect soul mate you hope you'll find. You seem a gentle soul, and I hope for you, that you find who you are looking for. From your writing, I'd say you appear to be in love with love. Nice rhymes, and an easy flow, to your romantic poem. I had, what she called, 'a kindred spirit' for 38 years. Audrey died in 2007 of congestive heart failure. I haven't been with anyone since. Maybe there is one person for every person, I don't know. What I do know is that we loved each other unconditionally, and the love doesn't end with death. It is eternal. Thanks for sharing your wishes for romance with me.

I am not familiar with the structure of the poem. My poetry has a common and repeated rhyme and meter; thus I am not in a position to comment.
I would like to say that the story line is clear and invites the reader to experience,
your capture of an emotional rainbow , the tie down of the mist of love. You are yet to bathe in the glow of her eyes, and bask in the warmth of her kiss. Bon Chance.
