This is a beautiful sonnet
It is easy to see why it was chosen as the Master Sonnet
Perfectly rhymed in abab pattern
Written in excellent iambic pentameter
Perfect couplet reflecting back upon the theme
Excellent imagery both of the majestic planet
and the rapacious plunder
Excellent choice of photograph
I wish I had an extra star to place in the heavens
looking down upon the blue wonder
But I've only five left
Very well done for a worthy project

Thanks so much for the great review.
Yes, the project is worthy indeed - and topical, as it turns out with the Paris Agreement being signed off today. Can't wait to see the completed Wreath of Sonnets.

This sounds very interesting and, on the day of the climate change summit, very topical. I'm not surprised, they chose your poem as the Master Sonnet. Love the line 'for every tree we plant, a forest falls'. Shows the craziness of the situation. Very well put.
Am looking forward to reading the following sonnets.

This is a beautifully written sonnet.
It is not an easy format to master,
but you have done so, very well
I love the artwork, which complements it very well.
I agree with the sentiments expressed therein.

Thanks, Erica.
I have written a few decent sonnets before, but this one had a few extra twists and turns, being an acrostic and also having each line suitable as a starting point for someone else;s sonnet.

Kiwisteveh, this is an excellent acrostic describing the situation today on climate change. A most thought provoking piece indeed. Unfortunately I am all out of six stars but thank you very much for this enjoyable read.
