My friend, I really enjoyed this chapter. It was very well written and easy to understand. I brought back some of my own memories too. The story of the girl was very interesting and this entire post held my attention very well. I don't think I've read anything of yours that I have not enjoyed. Thank you for sharing. Best wishes, my friend.

I was surprised to see the words Mongoloid
Idiot together, I thought that by calling a
person Mongoloid it was understood he/she
was mentally challenged.
Was she there looking for food? I would like
to know more about the poor girl.
I will be waiting for your next writing.

As I remember it, Mongolian Idiot was the first term, followed by Mongoloid, and finally Down Syndrome. I hope to have you on board for my next post, though she won't be a part of it. Her story is over. We continued to hear her, but didn't pursue any action. This was the 60's and we were young and foolish.

I like the way you recant your childhood and the things you did. The story moves along at a nice clip and the dialogue is good. I can tell you look back on theses days with fondness.

Bless you Christof! I made the corrections. I don't know how I missed it. I'm so glad you enjoyed. It wasn't exactly childhood. We were young men at 21 yrs old. But it was fun and life was an adventure. Thanks again.

I enjoyed reading this journal entry piece Wow, that was a long time ago in your youth. I hope you get around to writing the story of that Mongoloid girl and her chant.
Blessings,
Anabella

I really don't have any more to write about the young girl, Anabella. We didn't see her again and we got so used to hearing her chant after a while we didn't even notice it.
